Jane’s Walk // Take Your Eyes to the Street!
Learn more about your favorite spaces and places in celebration of Jane Jacobs on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th, 2014
Jane’s Walk NYC is a weekend long, city-wide series of free neighborhood walks that honor the enduring legacy of urban activist, Jane Jacobs, who championed the uniqueness of neighborhoods and celebrated the 'locals' who keep them strong, livable and resilient. This year—for the Municipal Art Society’s 3rd annual Jane’s Walk—we will be coordinating 100 neighborhood walks hosted by passionate New Yorkers with knowledge and enthusiasm to share. http://bit.ly/1pkkx1k
